Before we go out, Prefect, I just need to tell you: New York City isn't like the Factory. There are gonna be a lot of people out there after your time and money, and it'll look like commerce, and you'll want to stop and talk to them, and we'll never get anywhere.

So, we're gonna make an itinerary of what we're doing, where we're going, and what time we're doing it, and we're gonna stick to it. No extra stops and no distractions-- even if we're ahead of schedule.

There are... a lot of places to shop here, and I just want to be sure that we hit every one. See anything you'd like to get for somebody-- y'know, a proper gift-- and I won't hesitate to put it on the card.

Could I borrow some clothes for the port, given that you and I are practically the same size? I'm certainly not asking the Master and I would rather not appear conspicuous.

Yeah, of course. Just, uh, know that you'll be wearing clothes that's roughly 30 years out of date. Luckily, fashions cycle.

30 years is a distinct improvement on 400 years out of date, I believe. I've never been one to keep up or show much consideration to fashion, but even I think several centuries is a bit too far. Thank you, though.

Well, they could always assume you're part of a performing troupe. But, er, right. That wouldn't do. Come by my cabin and pick out whatever you'd like.

If it came to it, yes, but I find standing out in a city is normally a bad move, even if it is only as part of a performing troupe.
