Has anybody else received anything strange-- a DVD, a note, any object or communication that's out of the ordinary? And does the name "Elle Greenaway" mean anything to you?

I've filtered this entry to the lot of you-- Agents Reid and Prentiss, Billy, Libby, Peter, Daniel, and Claude-- only because the baddie in question mentioned your names specifically. Somebody's missing, and I don't know who it is or how long we have, but I'm gonna need a very good reason not to start an inquiry, request a lockdown, and go door-to-door in search of the missing person.

I've got a DVD from the kidnapper. We need to meet, get an ID on him, figure out his location.

The name doesn't mean anything to me. What's the last name of the Elle here who creates electricity?

I did get something weird. It was two pieces of paper, each with the numbers '6' and '3' written in Sanskrit. That was why I was asking about the language earlier. I've been coming up with a list of possibilites-I've delt some with codes when I was back on my world. Do you want to hear them?

I found a business card this morning that had been slipped under the crack in my door. It's...well, this is going to sound stupid...it's a business card for a fictional location, from a book I've read. It says "SAVE HER" in black marker on the back. The front is advertising the "The Three Attic Whalestoe Institute," and the address listed is "9325 Lievre Avenue."

I can give information on what the location represents in the book, if you think it would be useful. Even the street name is a reference.

The only Elle I know is Elle Bishop.



And if this message goes through without scrambling, then this is what I tried to post about in my journal earlier. I thought it was just someone being cruel to me...actually, I thought it was Elle being cruel to me.

Yeah, that'd be brilliant, thanks. Whatever it is he's trying to call back to, it's got to have some connection to a person or a location here, otherwise, he wouldn't have included it in this little game of his.

It's... still a possibility, honestly. Could be that she and another Inmate are working together to distract us-- although why us, specifically?

The Three Attic Whalestoe Institute is a mental institution. One of the main character's mothers is committed there for severe paranoid schizophrenia. The street on the card is the mother's last name, except there's a small typo: it's Lièvre in the book. Pelafina H. Lièvre. The address number on the card means nothing to me, however.

The novel is House of Leaves, by the way, and the author is Mark Z. Danielewski.

If Elle was involved with setting this up, I know why she'd be screwing with me, at least as a general rule...but let's just say that it would be against her best interests to do so right now. And I don't think she's anywhere near stupid enough to test me. I really don't think it could be her anymore, not if she got other people involved.

I got a copy of Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. It was published in 1992, and the publication date's been highlighted.

And Elle Greenaway was the Agent I told you about, Sam. The one Garner shot.

Yes. Well, the team as a whole. Gideon called a press conference, and as far as I know, Agent Greenaway was the one Garner had the chance to point his gun at.

We don't know much about his capacity on the Barge. Without information, I'd say we need to consider him dangerous.
